Project 3: The Client

The client is an electronic arts patron. In his mid to late thirties, and is single, and is very private. He has been in and about the Australian New Media art scene since his early 20's, and has made many connections along the way, in Sydney, Australia, and Internationally. Over the last decade, he has compiled an impressive collection of historic and contemporary video and sound art, and is now looking for somewhere to share it with the public, and also trade in some of his less precious works. Along side this ambition, he also hope to contribute a new space of open collaboration, which will foster the local new media scene and also up and coming individual artists. He wishes for a flexible, none imposing space, which will allow for all kinds of New media art. He desires a gallery that allows for performances, and will also have a space for artists in residence, who can live in their studio of they please, however he desire this space to be disconnected from his own private residence.
